1. Scope & Acceptance
These Terms govern your access to edtworld.com and your purchases of EDT products (e.g., air fryer, electric kettle, hair dryer). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund & Return Policy, and all applicable Indian laws.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be 18+ and legally capable of contracting under Indian law.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
Accounts may not be transferred, sold, or licensed.
3. Product Information, Pricing & Taxes
We aim for accuracy, but minor variations may occur. Colors/appearance may differ by screen/device.
Prices are in INR and inclusive of applicable taxes; GST invoice is provided.
We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, or cancel orders with a full refund.
4. Orders, Acceptance & Risk
An order confirmation acknowledges receipt, not acceptance. Acceptance occurs on invoicing/dispatch.
We may refuse or limit quantities at our discretion.
Title and risk pass to you on delivery. Keep packaging and documents for returns/warranty.
5. Payments
Payments are processed securely via approved gateways (e.g., Razorpay, GoKwik).
By paying, you authorize the processor to debit your payment method.
Refunds are credited back to the original payment source per our Refund & Return Policy.
6. Delivery & Delays
Delivery timelines are indicative only. We are not liable for courier disruptions, customs delays, or force majeure.
Your remedy for delay is cancellation with a full refund before delivery.
7. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
Governed by our Refund & Return Policy.
DOA, damaged, or wrong-item issues must be reported within 7 days.
All customers retain a statutory 14-day cooling-off right.
8. Warranty & Service
Products carry brand/manufacturer warranty as per the booklet or PDP.
Service is through authorized centers only.
Misuse, tampering, or unauthorized repairs void the warranty.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You must not engage in unlawful, harmful, or disruptive activity, including but not limited to:
Spamming, phishing, or scraping
Reverse engineering or hacking
Uploading viruses/malware
Infringing intellectual property
Harassing or abusive behavior
10. Intellectual Property
All site content (logos, graphics, text, designs, product imagery) is owned by EDT or its licensors.
You may use the site only for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or derivative works are prohibited.
11. Relationship with Shopify
Our store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce infrastructure.
Sales are directly between you and EDT.
Shopify is not responsible for EDT’s sales, products, or liabilities.
Certain personal data is shared with Shopify as per our Privacy Policy.
12. Optional Tools & Third-Party Links
We may provide access to third-party tools or link to third-party sites.
These are provided “as is” and at your own risk.
We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or transactions.
13. Feedback
By submitting reviews, suggestions, or feedback, you grant EDT a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display such content.
14. Errors & Omissions
We may correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions (including pricing and availability) at any time without prior notice, even after you place an order.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EDT excludes indirect or consequential damages.
Aggregate liability is limited to the price paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
Services and products are provided “as is” without warranties except as expressly stated.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EDT, Shopify, and their affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Services, or violation of law.
17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
Governed by the laws of India.
Courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
We may offer amicable resolution or mediation/arbitration before litigation.
18. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for breach of these Terms. Provisions relating to IP, liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution survive termination.
19. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified on this page. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance.
20. Pre-Orders
Pre-order confirmation reserves inventory for the next batch.
Acceptance occurs on invoicing/dispatch.
If we cannot deliver within the stated window, you may cancel before delivery for a full refund.
21. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision is found invalid, the remainder remains enforceable.
These Terms, together with referenced policies, form the entire agreement between you and EDT.
